SUHR GUITARS AND AMPS

John Suhr is a genius and builds some of the finest guitars and amps on the planet- and he's a really nice guy. If you want a killer flawless instrument that is customized just the way you like it, he is the one to call. He has a healthy respect and understanding of what makes vintage guitars and amps great, and also not so great- and how to improve upon them without messing up the mojo. An exceedingly rare skill in guitar land... The guys at Suhr build my new signature PT100 amplifier, and at last count I have 6 Suhr guitars, and they are all exceptional. I also use the Suhr Badger amps and their Koko Boost and Riot pedals.

GIBSON GUITARS

I've been working with Gibson for almost 10 years now- they need no introduction and I'm proud to be involved with them. They are a huge part of rock and roll history!

ERNIE BALL STRINGS

I use 10-46 most of the time, they are great! I didn't break one string in 150+ shows in 2007! UPDATE: it's now 2009... still haven't broken a string onstage. Damn! Maybe I need to play harder!

FRACTAL AUDIO AXE FX

this guitar processor is amazing, it's a full featured effects unit that also models classic amps and cabinets. It's a recording and touring guitarist's wet dream...

RJM MUSIC TECHNOLOGY

I use an RJM RG16 as the centerpiece of my touring rack, to switch all my effects and amps.

DUNLOP PICKS/EFFECTS

I use Dunlop Ultex picks, Dunlop slides, and MXR effects extensively (the EVH wah, Flanger, and Phaser, can you guess my favorite guitarist?)

TC ELECTRONICS

TC makes some really nice effects and switching/management systems for guitarists... I use the G System and the Nova system.

TONE FREAK PEDALS

These pedals are real cool- I use the Abunai 2, the Moellotremo, and the Naked OD.

LINE 6/X2 WIRELESS

I use the XDS Plus wireless system.

PORT CITY CABS

I use the Port City speaker cabs live, they sound fantastic.

SCUMBACK SPEAKERS

I use the Scumback M75 65 watt speakers live and in the studio.

KOMET AMPLIFIERS

Komet amps are built by a couple guys named Mike and Hogy in Louisiana... they are bulletproof tone machines! I use the Concorde model.

DIVIDED BY 13 AMPLIFIERS

Fred Taccone builds some of the finest amps in the world¶ they sound incredible. My FTR 37 went around the world with me on the Robi Draco Rosa "Mad Love" tour- it's built like a tank and sounds like the beautiful love child of a killer Fender and a late 60's Marshall plexi, but with a magical thing all it's own! I also own an RSA31 model amp.
