Hey friends, welcome to the new and improved Peterthorn.com website!
My friend Heidi Hastings has helped me set up this new site, and she's done a wonderful job, thanks Heidi!
2009 was a busy year, I was out on tour all spring and summer with Chris Cornell, we had a blast trekking all over America and Europe... I also did some touring with Don Henley later in the year, which was a pleasure and an honor. I hope we do more!
I'm excited to get an album of my own done in 2010... working hard on that now. I also just played a really fun NAMM show gig with my good buddy Steve Stevens, which was such a blast that we may do more gigs with the same lineup if everyone's interested, I hope so- we will see. I'm also finalizing the design of the Suhr PT100 model guitar amplifier with my friend John Suhr next week, it's my signature 3 channel amp head, and it'll have some really interesting features as well as stellar tone, can't wait til it's done!

Hey everyone- I'd like to say-2007 ruled!
I had a great trime touring with Chris Cornell for most of the year... we hit Europe 3 times, and also visited Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, South America, the U.S. of course, and my Canadian homeland. We performed at Live Earth (Hamburg), and you can catch "Black Hole Sun" from that gig on the Live Earth DVD. It was amazing to have legends like Jimmy Page and Brian May visit us in our dressing rooms and attend our shows, and performing with Aerosmith was just unreal. Also, much respect to Earl Greyhound, Linkin Park, and the other great bands we shared stages with this year.
I also got to play on the new Alicia Keys album, which as of this writing has gone double platinum... a real honor to work with her, she's so damn talented.
Working on the Ben Jelen record (Ex-Sensitive) was another highlight for me, it's such a great album and I'm proud to say I played on it. Check out Ben here: www.benjelen.com
Sadly, I have no idea when/if the Courtney Love album we made almost two years ago will be released... I just hope people get to hear it soon!
2008 promises to be awesome, I'm currently in the studio playing on the new Daniel Powter album (another Canadian, Daniel actually spent a coupe of years living in my hometown of Edmonton). We should be hitting the road again soon with Chris, and there's a few other exciting things in the works I can't talk about yet, but it's all good! Thanks for reading this! :)

Hey all- the Chris Cornell tour has been going great, we are really having a blast playing these shows. Lots more to come. Also- I've received some inquiries about the songs streaming on my main page...
I was in a band called Forty Foot Echo from 2002-2004. We made one album and released it on Hollywood records.. if you like what you hear, it's available on Itunes, on Amazon.com, etc.

First UK Headline Show of 2007 & Hyde Park Calling Appearance with Aerosmith Announced Chris Cornell has announced his first UK headline show of 2007 at London's Astoria, May 16th. Peter appeared with Jewel on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on January 9th. He just finished doing some recording with Alicia Keys and Custard recording artist Ben Jelen.

Peter is in the studio with Courtney Love, recording the follow up to her 2004 release "America's Sweetheart". Linda Perry is producing.

Hey all, The Robi Draco Rosa DVD/CD "Al Natural" was released on December 6th... it includes a great concert DVD filmed in San Juan, PR in september 2005, as well as a matching live concert CD. Lots of extra behind the scenes footage and videos, etc are included... we had a great time putting the show together and playing that night, I'm really proud of it, check it out!"
